 We dined as a guest of Stefano’s My husband and I were guests of Stefano’s Beer Social Fall Opening, featuring everything pumpkin! Stefano’s is located in Yorba Linda on Imperial Hwy and Yorba Lina Blvd behind Chili’s. Stefano’s is so much more than a specialty Italian deli; now you can enjoy dinner with craft beers and wines as well. Sitting on the patio of Stefano’s we chatted it up with Frank Sr. (the owner) and his son, Frankie. Father and son share the same enthusiasm and love for great food. Frankie researched a new twist on the classic mac ‘n’ cheese, and came up with pumpkin, panchetta, and a well aged sharp cheddar “cooked down all day.” The final pizazz are the thick bacon chunks with nutmeg on top.   If you are in the mood for a high-quality panini, I highly suggest going to Stefano’s in Yorba Linda located in the same parking lot as Chili’s (aka Packing House) shopping center. The Stefano family acquired the former Golden Baked Ham store in 2003 and have expanded their menu to include their signature mouth-watering paninis, salads soups and desserts. With every bite, you can tell right away that Stefano’s takes pride in their Italian roots. There is always a lunch rush, but it is well worth the wait. The staff is very friendly, and you get the feeling that there are ‘regulars’ seated throughout the restaurant.
