Dining Guide for Families in Orange County

The Beachcomber New Fall Menu

The Beachcomber Cafe is one of the most beloved restaurants in Orange County. Located just steps from the sand, the restaurant has a welcoming feel, delicious food, and the best service. The historic restaurant has just announced that they are adding a new 2013 Fall menu for families to come and enjoy during the holiday season.

“For our Fall menu we wanted to utilize produce, meat, poultry and fish that comes from farms, ranches and fisheries guided by the principles of sustainability,” said General Manager Chris Seever.

The new menu, features sustainable produce, and seafood from local sources. It features a Ranch Scramble for breakfast that includes cured bacon, Portuguese Sauage, fresh peppers and onions, aged cheddar cheese and fresh salsa. For lunch, the new Wedge Salad has been a popular choice on the menu that features baby iceberg lettuce, maple bacon, Gorgonzola, marinated vine ripe tomatoes, sweet onions blue cheese dressing. While for dinner, the Tamarind Glazed Shrimp will keep guests coming back for more.

While the Ahi Tacos have always been my #1 favorite dish on the menu at The Beachcomber, I also recommend trying their new Lobster Pot Stickers that are made with fresh pan seared lobster, lemon coral sauce and served with a pea shoot salad.
