Couples seeking a unique and extra romantic Valentine’s experience will want a reservation at A Restaurant for Chef Jonathan Blackford’s special five course menu of aphrodisiacs. The Newport Beach restaurant is offering two limited seatings for Saturday, February 14, which will be served in A’s candlelit “Hideaway,” a private dining room limited to six couples at 6 and 9 p.m.

The exclusive dining experience will feature known aphrodisiacs including dishes with lobster, caviar, black truffles and oysters, as well as dessert and a complimentary glass of champagne. The Valentine’s meal is $150 per couple and reservations are required as seating will fill quickly.

Also on February 14, the restaurant’s regular menu will be available in the dining rooms with a captain’s list of special champagnes.

A Restaurant is known for its romantic ambiance and Chef Jonathan Blackford’s carefully curated dishes. Blackford specially sources ingredients that represent the best culinary offerings to marry classic pairings with a modern technique and presentation.

A Restaurant is open at 4 pm Monday through Friday, and 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The restaurant also has a Social Hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 pm with a happy hour menu. The restaurant has temporarily closed for lunch while PCH is under construction, while sister café A Market next door remains open for breakfast and lunch daily. Known for its delicious grilled items, fresh salads and generous portions, Bondi Grill House will soon add a full bar, launch Happy Hour and unveil new menu items. Bondi specializes in its signature Bondisaurus Pork Ribs, three pounds of free range, all natural, lean pork ribs that are basted in a house-made, proprietary sauce and cooked at 825 degrees for a perfect sear.
