Chef Azmin Ghahreman Takes His Globally Inspired Cuisine into the Workplace
Internationally renowned Chef Azmin Ghahreman has redefined dining in the workplace with the introduction of Masimo Technology Café by Sapphire, which brings fresh, flavorful meals to the international headquarters of Masimo, an Irvine-based medical technology company. For the past 2 years, Chef Azmin has worked on designing a state-of-the-art kitchen that opened at the Masimo headquarters on Monday, March 28th. He and his Sapphire at Work™ culinary team serve 500 employees daily.
Those familiar with Chef Azmin’s cuisine at his noted restaurant, Sapphire Laguna, can expect globally inspired flavors in more than 20 bold, exciting dishes created daily with grass-fed beef, antibiotic-free poultry and sustainable seafood. A 3,200-square-foot kitchen will produce breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks with an on-site rotisserie, combi oven, and an open-flame oven, as well as a production center offering fresh-baked artisan breads and an extensive selection of pastries. The beverage program will also focus on craft products, with fresh-pressed juices, all-natural organic cane sugar sodas, and locally roasted coffee and tea from Lamill.
Chef Azmin also oversees all production for a full market, which will offer ready-to-serve full family meals and prepared foods. Options will include flavorful salads, house-made soups, fresh-baked breads, sauces, marinades, dressings, and desserts, for employees to take home to their families.
