Dining Guide for Families in Orange County

Dining at Animal Kingdom Restaurantosaurus

Animal Kingdom Dining

Shelby and I are here at Disney Social Media Moms this week with our families.  As you can imagine, a week at Walt Disney World  is a dream come true for our families.

After a day of travel to get here, we caught up on sleep so the OC Mom Blog Kids keep up their stamina for this week of FUN and then took a vote on which park to visit first.

The winner?

Animal Kingdom!

The children seemed to have a plan of their own and lead the way to Expedition Everest.  There must have been some Pixie Dust in the air because somehow all nine of us got on this ride.

Height restrictions met and scare boundaries set aside, we did it.

Once.

Nine minus three equals six. 🙂   While Shelby, Ava and I enjoyed a seat in the shade, the remaining six went on a few more times.

After all of the thrills on Expedition Everest, we needed to find some food for our families and decided on Restaurantosaurus in Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom Dining

Restaurantosaurus offers a family friendly sit down environment with food to meet everyone’s needs.  Everyone needed time to get off of their feet and relax a bit; with our youngest kids being six, they were walking the majority of the park.  They certainly appreciated some warm chicken nuggets and apples apples while putting their feet up.

One thing we really appreciated about Restaurantosaurus at Animal Kingdom is how generous the portions were.  I split a meal with my hubby and Shelby and her husband shared a meal as well.  Our children shared adult sized chicken nugget meals and we added on a side order of apples, allowing us to get them to protein and fruit they needed in a cost friendly way.

Disclosure: We are both attending the Disney Social Media Moms Conference. We were not compensated for this post. All our thoughts and opinions are of our own.
