We dined as a guest of Tender Greens Tender Greens has been one of my favorite places to have lunch for many years. Every time that I am in the Los Angeles area and find myself having free time to dine out, I am always on my phone searching how far away is the closest Tender Greens. When they opened the location in the Irvine Spectrum, I was beyond thrilled, but then found that so was everyone else in Orange County. With wait times reaching over 30 minutes at times, I could not wait until they opened another location, and that time is now! Tender Greens just opened a new location in Irvine right across from UCI in the University Shopping Center (next to the movie theater and Trader Joe’s).   “Safe travels every day… great food all the way!” As a resident of Orange County, my sister and I always look forward to making a day of heading north to L.A. with a cooler in tow to do a little shopping at The Grove, stock up with treasures from The Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax, and while we’re at it grab some lunch or snacks from one of its many stands. This market, The Original Farmers Market has been a part of the L.A. experience since 1934 when farmers responded to an offer by local landowner, E.B....

Guests are invited to have all their culinary desires met while discovering new flavors in the fabulous food inspired by the flavors of the season. Recently, tried the new Chef’s Market Tasting menu at Pinot Provence, and I was taken on an epicurean adventure with the decadent collection of dishes prepared by Chef Ramirez. We started the evening with fresh Chick Peas seasoned with lime and chile. With each mouth-watering bite, the flavors of the lime and chile tantalized my tastebuds as each pea burst of out of its shell.   Then I discovered the stunning...

From Farm to Table at Tanaka Farms with Tree Top

Dining out is something we enjoy a great deal as a family.  While we think that dining out means a restaurant experience, today we want to share a non-traditional way to dine out with your family that allows you to teach your children about the food they eat. Shelby and I had the pleasure of attending an educational event with Tree Top earlier this month that was centered around Tanaka Farms.  It was an engaging and fun experience that inspired me as a mom and as a healthy women.  It is an experience I will share in turn share with our children to help them better understand where food truly comes from and the importance of a healthy and clean diet. Tanaka Farms is a local gem to us here in Orange County situated in the heart of...
