Dining Guide for Families in Orange County

It’s a Jolly Holiday at Disneyland Park

Planning a trip to Disneyland? Wondering where the best place is to have lunch with your kids? The Jolly Holiday is our #1 top dining destination for lunch with our kids inside of the park.

#1 There is always plenty of seating in the large wrap around outdoor patio

#2 There is plenty of space in-between the tables to easily roll the stroller up to your table in the event there is a sleeping kiddo during lunchtime.

#3 The line moves quickly and the food comes out fast as lightning. We can be sitting at our table eating easily within 10-15 minutes of walking in the door.

#5 The food is delicious..of course!

The fun bright yellow restaurant with white trim is designed after the beloved Walt Disney Feature Film “Mary Poppins.” When your family first walks into the restaurant, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a magical world of happiness. There are two lines to order your food with a giant glass case of delicious Disney treats in-between.

What to order?

My favorite is the Hot Angus Roast Beef sandwich on a toasted onion roll. It comes warmed with caramelized onions, horseradish aioli and melted cheese. While not the healthiest dish on the menu, it is my all-time favorite comfort food that I cannot resist getting every time I come to Disneyland.

My son is a proud grilled cheese connoisseur, and the grilled cheese sandwich at Jolly Holiday is one of his favorite’s in Orange County. It comes with a side of roasted tomato and basil soup that my other son has for lunch, so we also save money when dining here by having a meal large enough to feed two of our kids for the price of one.

My husband always likes to have a healthier lunch so he can spend his calories on the delicious desserts throughout the park during our visit. His favorite meal is the Jolly Holiday Salad that comes with spiced pecans, feta, tomatoes dried cranberries served with a Raspberry Vinaigrette.

Families can offer their children healthy dining options at this Disneyland restaurant with their Mickey Check meals. My daughter always enjoys their turkey sandwich on fish-shaped bread with a side of apples and carrots. It is just the right amount of food to give her the energy to enjoy the rest of her day inside of the park.

Jolly Holiday is located at the end of Main Street U.S.A. inside of Disneyland Park.
