Lillie’s Q Introduces Sunday Brunch Menu
Based on the overwhelming success of an initial Father’s Day brunch service last June, Lillie’s Q in Brea Downtown now offers a bountiful Sunday buffet brunch for less than $25 per person that includes bubbly or Mimosas.
The brunch, available from 10 AM-2 PM, features as assortment of Lillie’s renowned meats slow cooked in custom-built smokers over peach wood and lump charcoal, all hand carved to order. Guests will also enjoy an array of fresh house salads and sides, hot Lillie’s signature dishes and a short order menu of mouthwatering brunch favorites that will come piping hot from the kitchen. The buffet will end on a sweet note with a decadent selection of desserts, including a DIY peach shortcake.
Delicate pork rinds with pimento cheese powder, assorted housemade pickles, LQ Southern chopped salad, Q salad with apple cider vinegar and blue cheese, freshly made potato salad, chicken salad, Southern-style coleslaw and sliced watermelon.
Housemade bacon, creamy stone-ground grits, Lillie’s Brunswick stew, biscuits and sausage gravy, cornmeal-crusted tilapia with Lillie’s Louisiana barbecue sauce, collard greens, breakfast potatoes, mac & cheese, baked beans, roasted corn on the cob, and pancakes with pecan brown sugar.
Prime brisket, smoked turkey breast and Lillie’s own pork hot links. Guests may enhance the savory barbecue with chef Charlie McKenna’s renowned Lillie’s Q sauces—Smoky, Hot Smoky, Carolina, E.N.C., Ivory, Carolina Gold, and Hot Pepper Vinegar—found on each table.
Short Order Kitchen Menu:
Chicken & waffles–Lillie’s irresistible smoked fried chicken and chef Kody Havener’s family waffle recipe with grade A Vermont maple syrup—as well as four chef-created omelets, and Southern eggs Benedict with housemade biscuit, country ham, poached egg, fried green tomato and topped with Lillie’s Hot Mess hollandaise.
Lillie’s “minis:” banana pudding, cobbler and Stout brownies; fluffy beignets; a “build your own shortcake” with Lillie’s biscuits, peaches and whipped cream; a luscious chocolate fountain with assorted dippers and strawberry compote with whipped cream complete the impressive selection.
Brunch is $24.99 for adults and includes bubbly or Mimosas and a beverage such as coffee or tea. The price for children, 3-10, is $9.99. From the bar, guests may order the Morning Lillie, a version of the Bloody Mary complete with a handmade jerky stick for a special price of $7 and Lillie’s Michelada for $6.
