The dining scene is pumping this fall at SOCO and The OC Mix as new restaurants are opening, and current eateries are offering unbeatable specials. Bistro Papillote: This acclaimed French bakery and cafe in The OC Mix is now offering dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening from 5:30pm-9:30pm. Chef Laurent Brazier is serving classic dishes like Pistachio Crusted Sea Bass, Jumbo Scallops, Veal Medallions, Petite Filet Mignon, and more.

Farm & Culture: Grand opening in The OC Mix on Saturday, October 17, this kombucha and broth bar aims to educate guests on how food is meant to be eaten. Claudia Stubin, owner of Farm & Culture, and her team will be offering freshly fermented vegetables, a selection of kombucha flavors, yogurt with live cultures, and broths with add-ins like ginger and butter.

ST Chocolat: Helmed by MOF Pastry Chef Stephane Treand, this new chocolate and confection shop is opening in The OC Mix on Sunday, November 1. Perfect for grab-and-go holiday and hostess gifts, the chocolate offerings sold here (ranging from bonbons, caramels, jams, chocolate bars, and more) will be handcrafted onsite daily and beautifully packaged.

Taco Maria: The Fall Guest Chef Dinners are in the books, and Chef Carlos Salgado is excited to welcome talented chefs to collaborate with him at his restaurant in The OC Mix. Chef Wes Avila, of Guerilla Tacos in LA, will cook alongside of Chef Carlos on October 20, and Chef Richie Nakano, most recently of Hapa Ramen in San Francisco, will share the kitchen on November 17. Tickets go on sale 2 weeks before each dinner, and range from $80-$100 for the two seatings. Beverage pairings are available for an additional $40.

Temakira: The second location of this popular sushi restaurant will open in The OC Mix this December 2015, and will offer a selection of custom, made-to-order and signature sushi rolls, poke salads, and appetizers in a fast-casual setting. They will also serve beer, wine, sake, and shochu.

LCA Wine: After an incredibly successful first year, Nancy Milby, Peter Neptune, and their team at LCA Wine are excited to present SOCO Uncorked 2016, slated for March 31, 2016. Uncorked is a food and wine event featuring various SOCO and The OC Mix tenants – they offer delectable bites expertly paired with wines curated by the LCA Wine team. The open air atmosphere, live music, and delicious food and drinks create the perfect evening. Tickets start at $75, and proceeds benefit Project Hope Alliance.
