SOL Cocina Dock & Dine Season


With the arrival of Summer, SOL Cocina welcomes the return of “Dock & Dine Season” in Newport Beach! While SOL Catering is offered year-round, ranging from corporate dinners and luncheons, to intimate cocktail receptions, private tequila dinners, and large-scale galas – both in-house and off-site, the spring and summer months focus on delivering unforgettable Mexican menus to guests docked at their Balboa Marina location. “Dock & Dine,” full-service dockside catering, was created by Executive Chef Deborah Schneider, to extend the SOL experience to those wanting to take advantage of the natural beauty that lies in SOL’s backyard.


An extension of SOL Catering, “Dock & Dine” stays true to the restaurant’s dining room experience, by offering five different tasting menu packages featuring SOL’s eclectic twist on traditional Baja Cuisine. The menus come with SOL’s signature salsas, guacamole and Borracho black beans with cotixa cheese, served with crispy tostadas and warm corn tortillas. In addition to the set menus, guests may add on a number of a la carte options from the regular menu.
