Tasting Huntington Beach This Sunday
Looking for some foodie fun this weekend? Join in the deliciousness this Sunday, April 26th at The Taste of Huntington Beach where you can nosh on foods from local restaurants and partake in tastings from premier wineries and breweries while contributing to The Children’s Department of the Huntington Library. As hosts of the event, The Friends of the Children’s Library and the Huntington Beach Restaurant Association have helped The Taste raise over $435,000 for the cause since 2002.
With the purchase of your General Admission ticket you will taste foods from over 50 of Huntington Beach’s favorite restaurants including Solita Tacos & Margaritas, Bondi Grill House, Mahé, Slater’s 50/50, Pizza Lounge, Watertable at the Hyatt HB, The Red Table, Avila’s El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant, Duke’s, Gallagher’s Pub and Grill to name only a few. You’ll taste wines form 17 California boutique wineries. You’ll sample beers from 19 breweries. You’ll enjoy the sounds of live entertainment from OC’s Party Jones. You’ll have opportunities to participate in silent auctions and raffles for exciting prizes. You’ll act as judge in selecting your favorite booth for this year’s newly added People’s Choice Award. And you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing the proceeds form your ticket purchase will go to a great cause!
The festivities for General Admissions tickets kick off at noon at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex and will go until 4:00 p.m. All ages are welcome.
Tickets are on sale for $65 at the Huntington Beach Library Children’s Department, the Longboard downtown location and on-line. If you plan on driving you can take advantage of a special $5 designated driver discount. As the designated driver rather than wine and beer you’ll enjoy Surf City Craft Sodas, Diabolo Sparkling Drinks, as well as beverages from Tea of a Kind and Winder Farms.
