Nekter Juice Bar Opens at South Coast Plaza

South Coast Plaza is home to a variety of dining possibilities. From quick service favorites to white linen establishments, there are options for most tastes. However, one thing that the plaza didn’t realize they were missing was a juice bar. They had busy espresso bars, bars with extensive beer selections, even one serving housemade vermouth. Yet with the health-conscious society we live in, the inclusion of a spot that served green drinks wasn’t a factor– until now.

Located in the same wing as the home stores (on street level, across from Champagnes French Bakery) is the recently launched Nekter Juice Bar. Opening festivities included specials on their beverages, with 15% of sales going to local non-profit Festival of Children. Per founder Alexis Schulze, “Opening at South Coast Plaza is especially wonderful because it gave us the opportunity to work with Sandy Segerstrom Daniels and support her efforts to make life better for children around the country. Everyone at Nekter Juice Bar looks forward to an enduring partnership with Festival of Children. This is just the beginning!”

Their inviting modern look includes earthy wood accents and a cushioned banquette, complete with accent pillows, to relax and feel at home. Open an hour before its retail counterparts, drop in for a morning energizer while logging into SCP wifi and checking your emails. In addition to their namesake beverages, this location blends creamy smoothies and acai bowls brimming with good stuff. In a rush? Grab a bottled cold-brew coffee, tangy ginger lemonade or a multi-day cleanse to jump start your system. Juice may be in the name, but the brand covers much more. Our preferred selection happens to be a Toxin Flush (parsley, spinach, apple, lemon and ginger); we request light ice, and bring in one of their reusable tumblers for a discount. Utilizing their app not only allows customers to conveniently pre-order their favorites, but accumulate credits towards free beverages.
